Independence Day 2016: A Time To Reflect and be Grateful

With our nation celebrating our 240th birthday this week, it is a time to reflect on those who have given so much to preserve our freedoms and show our gratitude for their service and sacrifice. This week Veterans Advantage announced our - expansion of our Congressional Medal of Honor program to include spouses and surviving widows. And last month, we gifted free Veterans Advantage for the 2016 Invictus Games Team USA in Orlando, Florida.

We marked National PTSD Awareness Day on June 27, rounding out a month devoted to greater communications and compassion for those struggling with the hidden wounds of war. The VA has a great resource to learn more.
